Introducing the Foundation’s new Chair – Jonathan Trollip

After two years as a Director, the Pinnacle Charitable Foundation would like to officially announce and welcome Jonathan Trollip as Chair, drawing on his immense experience across both the business and philanthropic sectors. Some of you may know Jonathan as the current Chairman of Pinnacle Investment’s ASX listed investment companies, as well as through multiple other non-executive director roles within the commercial and not for profit sectors.

On becoming the Chair of the Foundation Jonathan commented: “I am honoured and humbled to be the new Chair of the Foundation with its 30 plus years of history and legacy. I am particularly attracted to its philosophy to support smaller, lesser known charities in their program start-up phase, enabling them to demonstrate growth and scalability for longer term enduring success.”

Jonathan looks forward to connecting with the Foundation’s charity partners directly over the coming months, particularly those based in Sydney. Mary Jung and Kate Brandon will be co-ordinating these connections, and will be actively seeking opportunities for employee engagement in 2022.

With Jonathan’s appointment, the Foundation Directors would also like to thank Barry Bicknell for his many years of honorary service to the Foundation, including five as Chair, after his retirement at the 2021 AGM in October. We all wish Barry a happy retirement building his new home on his property in regional NSW.
