Announcement: Pinnacle Retail Distribution

Pinnacle Investment Management Group Limited (Pinnacle) and Ramsin Jajoo announce Ramsin’s departure from Pinnacle. 

Since taking up the role of Director, Head of Retail in early 2019, Mr Jajoo has contributed significantly to continuing the reputation of Pinnacle’s Retail division as one of the fastest-growing and most respected retail investment groups in Australia. 

Under his leadership, the Retail division of Pinnacle achieved record net retail sales of $4.5Bn in FY21 and net retail sales of $3.6Bn in FY22. The total retail funds under management (FUM) grew under Ramsin’s leadership by 26% per annum. 

Mr Jajoo was responsible for transitioning the Retail team from 15 employees across two management layers to a more structured, high performance team comprising of 35 members who work in collaboration and across their areas of expertise to deliver results for clients. 

Pinnacle’s Managing Director, Ian Macoun said that Mr Jajoo’s contribution to the Retail business reflected his commitment and professionalism over the last four and a half years. 

“The past four and a half years have been both challenging and successful for Pinnacle, and Ramsin was charged with both navigating the Retail business through the pandemic and managing a high performance team to deliver true value to clients,” said Mr Macoun. 

“Ramsin has played an important role in Pinnacle’s success and we thank Ramsin for his contribution to Pinnacle over the past four and a half years and wish him all the best for his future.” 

Mr Jajoo, who has over 25 years’ experience in Retail financial services roles said he was proud to have been able to contribute significantly to Pinnacle’s position as one of Australia’s leading investment houses. 

“I’ve been impressed by the strength of the team throughout my time at Pinnacle and I’m grateful for the opportunities provided by both current and past leaders of Pinnacle and its Affiliates. I now have the opportunity over the immediate term to spend more time with family knowing the business is in good shape with Pinnacle’s emerging leadership talent.” 

Ramsin’s last day was Wednesday 31 May 2023. 

Pinnacle will shortly announce its plans for a new Head of Retail Distribution.
