Leading research houses initiate coverage of the Five V Horizons Fund

Five V Capital (Five V) and Pinnacle Investment Management (Pinnacle) are pleased to announce the Five V Horizons Fund has received strong inaugural ratings from leading research houses, Lonsec Research and Zenith Investment Partners.

The Five V Horizons Fund (the Fund) provides investors access to a portfolio of private companies, managed under Five V’s Private Equity strategy.

On 9 June 2023,  Lonsec Research initiated coverage of the Fund with a ‘Recommended’ rating.

In its report Lonsec noted:

“Lonsec believes the two founders have built an impressive private equity investment team focused on Australian / NZ mid-market opportunities. A disciplined and exhaustive investment process has produced very good returns for investors in four closed-ended funds over the last five to seven years and the Horizons Fund represents an opportunity for wholesale investors to co-invest alongside new investments in Fund IV and further closed-ended funds as they are launched.”

On 28 June 2023,  Zenith Investment Partners initiated coverage of the Fund with a ‘Recommended’ rating

Zenith Investment Partners provided the following commentary in its report:

“In our opinion, Five V’s due diligence process is well-structured and comprehensive, effectively leveraging its internal resources and external networks. The firm’s willingness to invest in diverse industries and ‘real economy’ businesses is a key point of differentiation, noting the tendency of PE to invest in the Technology and Healthcare sectors.”
