Supporting the Sector with
The Funding Network

The Funding Network Australia (TFN) makes giving simple, collaborative and fun, inspiring everyday Australians to give through the power of story, connection and community. Since 2013, TFN has brought together 24,000+ people to collectively facilitate over $29 million for over 580 non-profit programs.

As the largest collective giving movement in Australia, TFN builds bridges between business, philanthropy and the social sector to transform compassion into action. The fundamental goal is to facilitate access for grassroots non-profits and social enterprises to the capital, skills, connections and resources they need to thrive.

As a meaningful way of demonstrating broad-based sector support for early stage NFPs, the PNI Foundation has provided funding of $30,000 to TFN. This will help further develop the organisation’s ongoing connection and professional development support offered to its growing alumni base of over 260 NFPs.

“In addition to the support on the evening, the TFN team has kept in touch to offer further opportunities and help in this new, exciting period of growth for our team. Our year would look very different had we not taken part in this phenomenal opportunity, and we are very grateful for all the work TFN does in supporting early-stage organisations like ours to thrive.” – Jane Marx, The Beautiful Bunch (TFN Alumni)

Investment by the Foundation will help TFN coordinate, develop, oversee and measure its impact and streamlined offerings across this exciting cohort.

“Everything we do is geared toward building the capacity of our alumni community by helping them access the funds, skills, connections and resources they need to thrive. TFN provides ongoing opportunities for professional development, skills building and networking.  In our 2024 Alumni evaluation 79% reported an increase in professional development and 67% an increase in their organisation’s capacity.  Each year the program is growing thanks to support from partners like the PNI Foundation.” – Kristen Lark, CEO The Funding Network
