Update from the Foundation Chair

As we come to the end of 2024, I would like to reflect on the significant strides we have made as a Foundation, together with Pinnacle, Affiliates and our not for profit (NFP) partners.

This past year, the Foundation continued its strong tradition of supporting impactful causes and we remain grateful for the many meaningful partnerships we have developed.

Combined support from PNI, Affiliates and the PNI Foundation across all engagement activities in calendar 2024 has resulted in more than $1.42 million being distributed across more than 70 NFPs. This contribution has generated positive impact within dozens of communities across the country, with NFPs at the forefront of driving advocacy, awareness and change.

Earlier in the year we were very proud to reach a total donation milestone of $5 million in collective giving across the PNI Group (video below), and I would like to take this opportunity to thank PNI and all the Affiliates for their continued generosity and commitment. In addition to their financial contributions, Affiliates have generously dedicated their time, expertise and resources to support the work of their respective partners, furthering the impact of our collective efforts.

Heading into 2025, the Foundation is privileged to support 17 NFPs across our five core focus areas, each of which is making an invaluable contribution. We are constantly inspired by the dedication and passion of these organisations, working tirelessly to create positive change in communities across Australia. We are also delighted to support capacity building for grassroots NFP organisations across the NFP sector through our engagement with The Funding Network, and to provide crisis funding to Women’s Community Shelters in recognition of the desperate need for safety and shelter for those fleeing violence.
