Student & Graduate Opportunities

Pinnacle Investment Management takes pride in ensuring graduates undertake real world work experience from day one, while receiving guidance that can help unlock their full potential.

Women in Finance Scholarships

Pinnacle’s Women in Finance scholarships were first introduced in 2019 to empower, inspire and enable women to gain experience in the investment management and broader financial services industry. The Women in Finance scholarships assist female university students in gaining a greater understanding of, and experience in, investment management. As part of the scholarship, female scholars are invited to undertake an internship.

Each relevant institution will be able to provide prospective applicants with further details. Presently, Women in Finance scholarships are available through University of Queensland, University of New South Wales, University of Sydney, Macquarie University and University of Melbourne.

Graduate Programs and Internships

At Pinnacle we treat Graduates in a way that fosters their immersion, growth and adaption to our working environment. Our Graduate program is oriented towards on the job learning and formal professional development. Pinnacle’s approach to development is one that focuses on the practical, relevant and hands on aspects to reinforce learning from coursework, peers and mentors.

Pinnacle Investment Management offers internship positions to a select few students throughout the year. Our summer internships typically last 10-12 weeks and attract students in their second or penultimate year of university, the latter focused on students who would like to commence full time work the following year. We also offer winter internships to selected students.

Some words from our graduates:

Being a recipient of the Women in Finance Scholarship gave me the opportunity to work in Pinnacle’s finance team among an intelligent group, on a range of complex financial issues. I have gained valuable experience and knowledge of the Affiliates as businesses as well as how they operate within the Pinnacle Group. Continuing my work in this team beyond my internship has brought real-life context to my university studies and developed ongoing relationships within this industry.

As a graduate in the finance team, I get the opportunity to work independently but with support of a deeply experienced team. Managing complex financial matters with the assistance of my colleagues has allowed me to gain practical finance experience from day one.
