JULY 2026

Update from the PNI Foundation Chair

As we start the new financial year, thank you to everyone across Pinnacle, Affiliates and the wider community for your continued support of the PNI Foundation. Your ongoing commitment continues to make a meaningful difference in helping our not-for-profit (NFP) partners deliver impact right across Australia.

During FY26, the PNI Foundation, together with Pinnacle and Affiliates contributed more than $1.36 million to NFP organisations across Australia. This included $822,865 in donations to our 18 long-term NFP partners across four focus areas — Mental Health and Wellbeing, Domestic Violence, Children and Young People and Environmental Sustainability. A further $350,000 was donated directly to a number of these partners by Affiliates.

Over the past six months, we have continued working with our NFP partners to support the design, delivery and expansion of important programs and services. Along with Pinnacle, we also hosted a number of employee experiences; during National Reconciliation Week, Kyol Blakeney, a proud Gomeroi man and director of our NFP partner Yalari, led a session on delivering a genuine Acknowledgement of Country; our Champions Advisory Group came together for a “Cooking for a Cause” session with OzHarvest; Pinnacle employees in Sydney enjoyed a hands-on workshop led by SolarBuddy and the team in Brisbane attended The Funding Network’s “Thriving Young People” event. These moments highlight the value of coming together and engaging with the communities we support and are shared in this newsletter.

We also discuss our partners’ alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), our new partnership with Victorian – based You Matter, and feature our first CEO Fast Five Series interview with Lachlan Searle, CEO of R U OK? We hope you enjoy these insights as we look forward to continuing our connection with the NFP sector into FY27.
